Shop St Clair is a community initiative to encourage people to support their local businesses, in particular during the construction of the streetcar right-of-way.

The program is being undertaken by the Wychwood Heights and Hillcrest Village BIAs (Business Improvement Areas) with support from Councillor Joe Mihevc as well as NA-ME-RES, Green Neighbours 21 and MyStClair.com.

The program consists of two components - lawn signs and shopping bags. The lawn signs are being distibuted throughout the neighbourhood by volunteers. Green Neighbours 21 is distributing the re-usable shopping bags to local businesses where you can pick them up for free.

The Shop St Clair logo used on the signs and bags was designed by Michele Van Maurik, the winner of the design contest held earlier this year.
